YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026.
This policy explains how Finite Arch Limited uses personal information when you visit finitearch.com or contact us about our work.
1. Who we are
Finite Arch Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17204312.
Registered office: 343 Roundhay Road, Leeds, LS8 4BU, United Kingdom.
For a privacy question or request, email finitearch@gmail.com or write to our registered office.
2. Information we receive
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if provided, the content of your message and any other information you choose to include. If you contact us on behalf of an organisation, this may include your role and business contact details.
When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message through our website and email delivery service. The website does not keep a separate enquiry database. Your browser may retain or restore fields according to its own settings.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical information needed to serve and protect it. This can include your IP address, requested pages, request times and information supplied by your browser.
3. Why we use information
We use correspondence to understand and respond to enquiries, discuss potential research or business relationships and keep relevant records. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence and developing our business.
Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we may use the information needed for those steps. Where a legal obligation requires us to retain or disclose information, we rely on that obligation.
We process technical information for our legitimate interests in operating a reliable website, diagnosing faults and protecting against misuse.
Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough detail to respond. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
4. Who receives information
Railway hosts the website. Resend delivers contact-form enquiries to our company inbox. Google’s Gmail service handles received enquiries and our email correspondence. Authorised people within Finite Arch Limited may access information when needed for the purposes described here.
We may share relevant information with professional advisers or public authorities where necessary to meet a legal obligation, obtain advice or establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We do not sell enquiry information.
5. Processing outside the UK
Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Railway’s Data Processing Addendum provides for standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum, or an applicable Data Privacy Framework arrangement, for relevant UK transfers. Google describes its transfer safeguards, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses, in its published privacy information. Resend stores message content and delivery records in the United States; its Data Processing Addendum provides standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum for relevant UK transfers.
You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information and how to obtain a copy or explanation.
6. How long we keep information
We keep enquiries while needed to respond and manage any resulting discussion or relationship. We retain information afterwards only where there is a continuing reason, such as recording an agreement, dealing with a dispute or meeting a legal obligation.
We assess retention by considering the purpose of the record, whether the matter is still active and any legal requirements. Records that are no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised as part of regular review. Temporary submission references, hashed request details and outcomes are held in server memory to prevent duplicate emails and abuse; expired records are removed when another request is handled or the server restarts. Hosting and delivery records follow the providers’ retention settings; we can provide information about the settings relevant to a particular request.
7. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party media embeds. The website code does not save information in localStorage or sessionStorage. Your browser may retain information according to its own settings.
If we introduce optional cookies or similar tracking, we will update this policy and provide any required choices before using them. Other websites linked from this site have their own privacy arrangements.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy where that right applies.
You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Tell us which processing concerns you and why, so we can consider your circumstances.
Email finitearch@gmail.com to exercise your rights. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We normally respond within one month and will explain any lawful extension or limitation.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Sensitive information and automated decisions
Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, sensitive personal information or confidential invention material in an initial enquiry. Contact us first if you need to discuss a suitable way to share it.
This website does not use enquiry information to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. The AI Node is an information page about Finite Arch, not an assessment of visitors.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our website or information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the version.
